A jet plane has crashed into the Mediterranean Sea during an airshow in France, killing the pilot.

According to foreign media reports, on August 16, during the air show, the jet went out of control and fell into the Mediterranean Sea, the video of which has also gone viral on social media.

The body of the 65-year-old pilot has been recovered from the water in the French coastal area of ​​Lavande, while the local authority has launched an investigation into the pilot’s death and the accident.

An air show was held in southeastern France to mark the 80th anniversary of the Second World War (Allied Darcys), where the Fuga Magister jet was seen in the air, but the video showed it heading towards the sea. The air jet suddenly fell into the sea with a loud thud.

The Fuga Magister jet was built after World War II, while the French military used it for many years as a trainer jet and aerobatic aircraft.
