Lando Norris wins the Dutch Grand Prix

Lando Norris won the Dutch Grand Prix beating the home favorite and the leader in the drivers championship Max Verstappen. The British driver claimed his second career chequered flag after winning in Miami in May. Lando Norris took the dub with an astonishing lead of 22.896 seconds with his rival Max coming second and eventually the third place on the podium was taken by Charles Leclerc. With McLaren’s second driver Oscar Piastri coming 4th the gap in the constructors championship has been reduced to 30 points although the gap in the drivers championship still stands at 70 points

McLaren has been the fastest all weekend . Lando took pole on Saturday and Max being 2nd. On Sunday the start was very sluggish from lando losing the position to max on turn 1 lap 1. The Orange Army roared with their home driver leading the race. By lap 17 Lando took the lead back as McLaren is the fastest car in the paddock. Max being furious with the car was heard saying “I can’t go faster. The car is not responding to my inputs”.

Carlos Sainz who is leaving Ferrari this season. Had a pretty good race as well gaining 5 positions jumping from p10 to P5. Meanwhile the 7 time champion Lewis Hamilton gained 6 positions jumping from P14 to P8.

The F1 circus now moves on to the famous Monza track in Italy next weekend, round 16 of 24 with everyone snapping at Verstappen’s heels.
